I bought this rod new and it’s in excellent condition with no issues. Its got a soft tip for casting light lures a long distance, but also technology to feel light bites and a strong backbone to set the hook - I caught a 5lb. bass with it and felt very confident landing it.

Shimano Zodias rods are also very light weight, but extremely durable. I own a few and they are surprisingly similar to the Shimano Expride rods, but at a greatly discounted price.

The rod retails for $270, but I’ll let it go for $170.
