Normal, Half Normal, and Thru, selectable per channel via top-side switches
Chassis
All-metal design for durability
Type
Analog patchbay
The three operating modes can be easily assigned via switches located on the top of the unit: Normal: The two rear jacks of one channel are interconnected (normalled). Inserting a plug into one of the front jacks interrupts this connection, allowing a different signal to be patched in.
Half Normal: The two rear jacks are interconnected, but the connection is only interrupted when a plug is inserted into the lower front jack. This is often used for creating monitor sends or splits.
Thru: Each rear jack is directly connected to its corresponding front jack, functioning as a simple pass-through with no interruption capability.
