A beautiful set of solid sterling silver spoons that each depict one of the 12 Days of Christmas themes. Each spoon is about 5 1/8" long and weighs just under one troy ounce resulting in each spoon averaging over 0.88 troy ounces of silver content. The whole set has 10.63 troy ounces of silver. Produced by the Franklin Mint in the 70s, this would be great to add to your Christmas collection of decorations (or even used as spoons). The bonus is that they will increase in value as the price of silver increases making this not just a decoration, but an investment.
The silver value of this set is currently over $995. As silver has been very volitile lately the price will adjust to be $75 above the spot (melt) value of the set. For a little more you can get a beautiful set that has true intrinsic value. I have multiples of these so if you are interested in multiple sets for families, let me know.
