VenmoThis is a well worn & loved jacket. Cosmetically, it's sun faded for that ADV patina. Maybe it's a feature? But it has never been in a crash, perfectly intact. It's still perfectly waterproof and very warm. It has a couple of chest vents, the sleeves can open up wide to throw air up your arms, and two back vents. The waterproof / windproof layer is built into the jacket itself... No layers to throw on, but that means it's also warm. In my experience, this jacket was comfortable up to the 70's and tolerable but not great into the 80's. Forget about wearing it into the upper 80's or warmer in the summer. But on the plus side, it's a great cold weather jacket. I found it comfortable down to the 30's with layers underneath, and even colder than that if I used a heated jacket liner.
It has a TON of pockets. A common complaint of this jacket was the velcro around the neck opening catching onto your helmet... I replaced the velcro with magnetic snaps. It includes elbow & shoulder armor, you will have to provide your own back protector. I no longer have the thermal liner, since I prefered to use my own layers. The main zipper broke the rubber extension but the zipper itself still works fine.
Regarding fit, I am about 5'8" and 155 lbs. It fits me comfortably with plenty of room to layer underneath to match the conditions.
