I never thought I'd see the day when I would need to sell my horse, but my family is in desperate times and I can't afford to care for her any more. Meet Grace, a papered 2005 black and white tobiano mare. She is really something special. My heart horse. She has a huge heart and lots of try and I know she would be a great horse for someone. I would recommend someone with a bit of experience because she can be a bit spooky, but she has never, and I mean NEVER bucked in the 14 years I have had her. She has fantastic ground manners, really great for the farrier, she is up to date on deworming and shots, and is a very easy keeper. She is 15hh and is completely sound. She knows the barrel and pole patterns very well. During our competing years, she ran consistent 22's in poles and 3D average in barrels and rarely knocked anything over. I showed her in 4-H for 6 years and we qualified for state all 6 times, and even took 3rd overall one of the years. Don't let her age fool you, you'd never know she was 20 years old. She still has spunk and with someone getting her back in shape, she would still clock good times. She hasn't been consistently ridden for about 7 years because I have had 4 kids in that time frame and haven't been able to ride her as much as I'd like to, but I have ridden her recently and ran her a few times. She has so much to give and I hate to see her just sit. She would be ideal for a kid looking for a bit of a step up horse to show in 4-H. She does great in the trailer. She can have trouble going in the gate. I got her to go in backwards though, which seems to work for her. I love this horse and taught her everything she knows, and she did the same for me.
