Native American Maiden Angel Rare Vintage 2003 This is a handcarved than covered piece and handpainted idividual piece that my dad purchased at the Trading Post on one of his trips. She is dressed in off white with markings on her of a star in the middle and wings in the back with a headdress of three feathers. Her hands are outstretched while she is praying for her people. Its a sturdy piece and will add delight to any collection or Native American nativity. She stands almost 4 !/2 inches tall and her base looks like wood. She is hand painted in the authentic Native American outfit. The concept of guardian spirits is deeply connected to the land and the natural world with many spirits being associated with specific animals, plants or natural features.
