I’ve had Romeo for over 2 years and he is amazing. He is smart and learns fast. He will run right up to you in the pasture, super sweet and friendly. He requires a gentle but firm hand and is more of an intermediate rider horse. Will sometimes do a small crop hope when transitioning from a walk to trot in the arena but has never bucked. I’ve had many kids learn on him but wouldn’t recommend him if you don’t have any horse experience. Although he is very sweet and willing, he needs someone that is confident because he is very sensitive. More go than woah, but will just walk fine with other horses on a trail. Has the nicest lope. He doesn’t particularly love arena work but he will put up with it. He’s been having kids have lessons on him for over 4 years and he is very gentle. Kids love his trot. He is around 24 years old but you would never know it. He acts like he’s 8 and has a lot of energy. Kind of horse that needs his person and will have a very special bond with them. I take him for bearback trial rides, he’s been in the mountains, antelope island, great with traffic, farm animals, been in parades, and isn’t spooky. Not buddy sour I take him for rides by myself a lot, great for the farrier. He is nice to saddle and bridle. Loads great. Amazing at his groundwork and vocal commands. We’ve been doing liberty together and he does so well. Doesn’t require any special maintenance although his teeth are pretty ground down because of his age so we feed him soaked hay cubes. No arthritis or any other problems. Super healthy and sound. Barefoot and stands when tied. I love this horse so a good home is a must. Come see him Asking $2,000 serious inquiries only
