Canelo is a 6-year-old red dun Warlander (Andalusian x Friesian) stallion with excellent manners. He is sweet, willing, and ready to go in any direction.
He recently passed a PPE at Rocky Mountain Veterinary Clinic in Provo, Utah with flying colors. He has lovely, floating gaits and a super smooth canter. This horse has lots of gears—he is gentle enough for a beginner, but he has also been trained as a Mexican Dancing Horse and can really turn it on when asked. He performs passage, though not through traditional dressage methods. He loads, walks, trots, canters, neck reins, and is naturally collected in his gaits. He would make a wonderful dressage prospect. He has been ridden on trails and has successfully competed in dancing horse competitions.
His mane and tail are beautiful, and his unique coloring is a real eye-catcher. He can be registered with the Friesian Heritage Association. You can campaign him as a stallion or geld him—either way, he will be a showstopper.
