This auger has pretty good cutting blades on the bottom, and cuts about a 8-9" hole. I'm not sure what drive it is exactly, but the ole guy that who had it welded a couple of pieces of 1/2" square tube to the top to be able to use it by hand, which could easily be cut off..

It's about 5'1/2 ft. long
