PayPalThis early Silvertone Model 1446 was built by Harmony for Sears and, aside from the nut, remains fully stock.
It is equipped with the two highly desirable Gibson-made Seth Lover mini-humbuckers and the original Bigsby bridge that define and elevate this model.
The body is in exceptional condition, showing light, honest finish checking but no wear, dings, or scratches, with the sole exception of minor finish chipping around the neck screw washers—completely typical for these guitars.
The neck is straight and smooth with no dead frets. The ebony fretboard does exhibit cracking almost the entire length of the fretboard (see photos); this is not noticeable while playing and has no impact on playability or tone, but is noted for accuracy.
This is a 24” scale guitar with a bolt-on neck. The original raised metal headstock logo (not screen-printed) remains intact, supporting its early production date. All original plastic components—including the knobs, pickguard, diamond control plate, tuners, and truss rod cover—are in exceptional condition with no cracks.
Included are the original case, paperwork, strap, and the EXTREMELY RARE original plastic guitar cover.
I’m possibly open to trades, especially for a JCM 800 (model 2203), a cool Les Paul or other cool high end gear. I can add more gear or cash to my side if you’ve got something cool to trade!
