This is Red, he is a good horse that needs someone that can put him to work. He is too good to sit. My friend broke her back at work and just can’t use him like he needs to be. He is a good horse that has potential for a kids horse with some more time on him. He has the training for it, he just needs someone to pursue it with him and perfect him.

I’m helping my best friend post and sell him. She had a work accident that messed up her back and can’t ride like she used to. He’s too nice to stand around doing nothing, so it’s time to find him a job and someone that’ll use him.

The Rundown:

• 6–7 months of cutting training on young buffalo calves (took to it quick) • Spent this spring calving and roping on a ranch • Started on the dummy, handles it well • Never offered to buck, even after time off • Good to shoe, easy to catch, gentle and smart • 15 hands (no taped)

️ Only Quirks:

• Cut his ear as a 2-year-old, so he’s a bit ear-shy — still halters and bridles fine, just doesn’t want you messing with them much. • Could use a little more time crossing water, but he’s no dummy and will figure it out quick.

My friend raised him from a foal and this isn’t an easy sale. All she wants is for him to go somewhere he’ll get used and appreciated. Everyone that has rode him has liked him!
