This is a calling male imitator Varadero. (Understory Enterprises line. ) They are referred to as thumbnail dart frogs in the hobby due to their small size. Varadero are native to the lowland forests of Peru. They are capable of raising their own young. The female will lay infertile eggs for the tadpole to feed on. Varadero have a pleasant chirping call that is on the quieter side
