[HABITAT] Springtails are right at home in Bio Active environments like terrariums, vivariums, and dart frog enclosures! They thrive in the soils/substrate, leaf litter, organic mulches, under bark & decaying wood of your BioActive Environment. If kept in cup cultures we use peat, horticultural charcoal, and damp sphagnum moss. [DIET] For food we suggest using Pure Brewers Yeast, Fish Flakes, Boiled Rice, Mushrooms, or Powdered Springtail Diet. Feed very light portions every 2-4 days (or less often, if there is still food visible). It is a good idea to switch up the diet every so often to give the nutrients needed. All these food sources are inexpensive and easy.
