We have a 9 yr old bay gelding up for sale. We purchased this guy from a racing barn about 3 years ago. He loads great, stands tied and stands for the farrier. He does not do well barefoot and will need shoes. We have shown him in quite a few low key shows. He has been started on multiple events but is not advanced in any one event. He picks up all his gaits good and no buck or bolt. His trot is choppy and sometimes will lean into the bit when asked to stop from a lope. There is no buck or bolt. Has been taken on many trails and gone up the mountain to push cows. He is a fairly mellow horse and we will be sad to see him go. Before we purchased him he had surgery for chips in his knee. When he is ridden hard there is mild inflammation in that knee. We have worked with our vet and are able to maintain it with small dose of previcox. We are moving and attempting to downsize our herd to make the process easier. We are firm on price as we have a place lined up for him if he does not sell. I will upload more photos/videos when I am able to make it over to where he is located. I have his jockey club papers on hand.
