We originally used this as a TV stand and it has a shelf that goes in the center on the top that is 28 to 31 inches from the bottom. Then we put it in a spare room to use as a wardrobe and put a bar in it for clothes, It fits clothes rather nicely. Three drawers on the bottom. The doors are a little warped, but they stay closed and there’s scratches after many ye of use.
