2007 Redline 19" Monocog 29" Single-Speed
Bike was built and restored as a winter project and has zero miles on it since completion. It was purposely assembled as low-tech as possible as an homage to the early days of roots mountainbiking.
I have way more in it than what I am asking, but it's time to pass it along to someone who will ride and enjoy it.
I did not want to completely restore the bike to showroom condition. I wanted to keep its patina and have an end result of a bike that has been, and will be, ridden and enjoyed. There are NEW parts where it matters - the wheels, the drivertrain, the bearings, etc.
Frame has been Comet-washed to bring out it's original luster. Unfortunately, the top-tube and down-tube logos could not be saved - they were lost when the frame was cleaned. Frame and fork have been internally treated with Pro-Gold frame-saver. Frame hasn't any cracks or dings, but does have chips in the powdercoating and very slight signs surface rust.
Parts that aren't listed as new, also have signs of use.
See pictures for details. Items have not been abused, and I do take care of my stuff. Please be realistic in buying this item - you are not buying a new bike. You're buying one that is nearly 20-years old and has been restored and put back together as a survivor to save it from the abyss that is the landfill.
These points are offered to set realistic buyer expectations prior to sale.
