This boy is a started medical alert and scent-work prospect with elite drive and rock-solid environmental stability. He has extreme drive for the ball and fetches like a pro!
Besides his basic and advanced training commands, he is actively training to alert to oncoming Low Ketone (Keystone) attacks and anxiety episodes. He has been started in scent work specifically to detect chemical shifts, (he can properly alert between various scents) making him a premier candidate for a Diabetic Alert Dog (DAD) or Migraine Detection Dog (MDD). This will need to be carried out by your trainer.
He is street-ready with comprehensive public access training. He handles new environments with focus and neutrality. Very calm and collected in public with great work-play switch.
With his intense drive to work and please, he is also a prime candidate to be finished as a SAR (Search and Rescue) if you’re looking to change fields with him. Has a good foot tracking nose, (not so much an air tracker).
He is great with other people and other dogs and has zero aggression and resource guarding issues (toys, food, or treats). Excellent recall and off-leash manners; he stays engaged with his handler most of the time.
