I have two male peacocks for sale. They were both hatched this July. They aren’t siblings but they are bonded to eachother and I would want them both to go to the same home.
We have peanut butter who I hatched and have the parents on site. Peanut butter is sweet and kind and much more laid back than their friend BLT. Peanut butter will follow you around and will come running if you call them. Peanut butter will also hop up onto your arm when asked. Especially if treats are involved
BLT I rescued from a neglectful home and raised them with Peanut butter. He is much more hesitant of humans and hands. But will follow peanut butter anywhere they go. BLT is going to be a big boy but he isn’t afraid to get his worms from your hands. Please be advised he will not be happy nor trusting of you if you constantly try to pet or reach for him.
Both like to follow and help in the yard. They are curious and love to get right into what you’re doing. They have been around older peafowl.
We have started training them for free ranging. Both have been wormed for this fall/winter. The next time they need to be wormed is this spring. This is the perfect time to get them ready for free range as they will follow you around when you let them out and get to learn the land and where to go and not to go.
The reason for selling is we have too many boys. I want them both to go to a good home and together. Peanut butter would be fine going alone but BLT needs his peanut butter as he is always calling for them when he is out of sight. His confidence comes from peanut.
We have been raising and hatching peafowl for over 6 years. Our birds are health and happy. We take the time to understand our birds wants and needs. We understand that each bird is different and respect boundaries with each one.
Please check with your zoning to be sure you’re allowed to have peafowl. Peafowl require room to roam.
Asking 200 for both Firm on price. I sell my males for 130 each. Lowered it so they can stay together.
