I also have younger Salmon favorelle pullets that will be ready in about 4 weeks The favorelle hens are very calm winter hardy hens that are midsized when full grown and lay a freakish tan egg. Marans are very hardy hens that love to free range and lay a milk chocolate to dark chocolate colored egg. They mature quickly and are some of my earliest layers in the spring.
