My daughter's horse had to be put down last fall. So I bought a mare advertised as pregnant last month as a way to cheer my whole family up. I took the mare into South Valley a week later for an ultrasound and found out she wasn't pregnant and not breeding sound.

We are heartbroken to say the least.

I'm a former vet tech, with 30 years experience with horses. 10+ years bottle feeding all manner of orphaned or sick animals. From calves to raccoons, I've seen it all.

I'm not looking to foster the foal. I'd prefer to buy it outright but honestly i'm so desperate for a babe I'd consider just taking care of the foal if you cover the cost of care.

I put feelers out on FB, South Valley and the BLM looking for a baby we can help. I might as well try here too.
