Sheriff is estimated to be around 2 years old (he was found as a stray, so we don’t know his exact birthday), but what we do know is that he’s 100% lovable goofball.
With his soft black fur, floppy ears, and big personality, Sheriff is equal parts cuddle bug and zoomie champion. He’s smart, food-motivated, and eager to learn — and he already knows sit, shake, high five, and down. He’s currently working on his “place” command and polishing up his house manners like the overachiever he is.
Sheriff is crate trained and does great for a full work day. He’s also house trained and walks like a gentleman on leash. When it’s time to wind down? He’s all about the cozy life. He loves blankets, will happily snuggle up with you, and is very talented at sleeping in. He currently sleeps on the bed but is flexible — he can settle wherever his people prefer.
He’s dog-friendly and would love a canine sibling, but he’ll need a patient, tolerant dog buddy. Sheriff loves to play and doesn’t always take the hint when another dog is done. A confident, easygoing dog who enjoys playful energy would be the best match.
He’s also pretty great at entertaining himself with chew toys, which is a bonus for busy households. That said, he’s still a young, active boy and will thrive in a home that provides consistent structure, exercise, and mental stimulation.
Sheriff is kid-friendly but would do best with children who can handle some enthusiastic jumping and rough-and-tumble play while he continues learning his manners.
