ZelleSelling off a pretty extensive collection of new and vintage hand saws that belonged to my neighbor. He was more of an aspiring wood worker and a collector of fine and rare and interesting tools than a journeyman carpenter. Sadly he was killed by an impaired driver here in SLC a few years ago... and his spouse is finally ready to let some of his things go. I am simply acting as an advisor and mediary since I know a little something about tools and carpentry.
He had a few different tool fetishes. One was hand planes. Saws was another.
Unfortunately a lot of these hand saws don't come with any clear indication (model #, etc) of what they are so we've done the best we can to identify them all. Here is a pretty complete inventory:
Bad Axe:
D8 hand panel saw
16" tenon saw
14"
12"
10"
https://badaxetoolworks.com/collections/ready-made-saws
Wenzloff & Sons: (VERY RARE)
panel saw & half back saw

Henry Disston:
D115 Victory D12
D-8
No 12 ?
No 40 ?
D-23
D-112
24" - can't read model #
D100
D95
D95
Atkins: No 65
E. Garlick & Sons: 12" tenon saw rip tooth & 8" saw
E.C. Simmons: No 38 or No 88
These saws range from "brand new" to "like new" to "very good" to "average for age". (None of them are in poor condition.)
We don't have a specific price list but we've done some research and have a general idea what these cost new (for the saws still available--like the Bad Axes--or what they are selling for on eBay. So, if you're interested in something, do your research and make an offer. We'll either say No Thanks or counter... or just ignore you if your offer is ridiculous.
Generally, stuff that is still in production and essentially new we are selling for around 75% of the current price. The rarer stuff we're going to use recent sold comps on eBay for a general price guide.
We are not a store so we don't really have a "stop by and browse around" function. So only message us about SPECIFIC items you are interested in.
Thank you.
