She is not started but has genetics to be smooth in gait. Selling her dam as well. She has a lifetime travel permit from the brand inspector. A little about her… She did not get a lot of interaction with us after she was born on our property going on 4 years ago on Mother’s Day. So, as a result she is shy but as our trainer has been working with her in the round pen, she is doing well at changing directions and turning inward on her direction changes. She looks for the relief by giving two eyes but is still apprehensive to be approached. She will usually run off again as you step into her “bubble”. She’s had about 5 solid training hours on getting her halter broke. During this time she has been roped a dozen times and has been led around with the halter. We have get to get to a point where we can walk up to her and put the halter on. We suspect she will within a few more lessons as she is making notable progress. I’d say she’s not been slow to learn but slow to trust.
