Perfect Ranch Horse

Smokey is a 12/13 yr grade quarter horse with lots of potential to go any direction. He has a solid foundation in the arena, with smooth paces. He will walk, trot, lope on both leads, crossover, and he is getting more consistent with flying lead changes. He was also patterned on barrels this summer just for fun before I bought him and could be finished there. Smokey is also an incredible mountain horse, he will cross deadfall without batting an eye and will go through water with ease. He's been around cows, deer, dogs, sheep, you name it.

Smokey could excel whether he is doing roping, barrels, ranching or as just a trail horse. He’s just a horse that needs a job and needs to be ridden by an intermediate rider.

Smokey is sound, UTD on teeth, shoes and vaccines. He loads/unloads in trailers great.

Smokey is blind on the right side and has been since he was about 5 years old but it doesn’t bother him

I hate to see this guy go but I’m selling him to find something a little better suited for my kids as they are just beginning riding and Smokey is more go than whoa. He has a big motor.
