Healthy, hardy, alert, prolific, vocal, and good to the ladies. Heritage landrace and dule purpose breed. Hatched- May 14th, 2025. He is currently 9 months old and breeding!

Only selling him because I already have a Roo and another would stress out my small flock of hens. Also, he can no longer live peacefully with my preferred Roo and it's become tedious to rotate them. I know he would be happier on someone else's homestead, where he can attend to his own hens full-time and without the competition.

He is accustomed to working livestock guardian dogs, barn cats, and his usual keeper, but he can be spicy when chased and cornered by unknown humans, so he'll likely need time to warm up to you.

Keep him or eat him! The choice is yours.

Note: I've harvested other roosters of this breed at 5 months and their hang weight averaged 3.5-4lbs.
