We have roughly 30 guppies for sale for only $1.50 each. Most pet stores sell them between $3-6, so if you’re wanting any please let me know sooner rather than later (we always sell out fast)!
Guppies are best kept in groups, so if you don’t have any already you’ll need to purchase 3-5 at a MINIMUM to keep them happy and healthy. We will include a few extra fish with every purchase, so if you’re wanting an EXACT number of fish please be sure to let us know so we don’t give you more than what you’re wanting.
Most of our guppies are only a few months old, and it is difficult to sex them until their colors come in. Our males tend to be very colorful and while females tend to be more plain, we have had extremely colorful females as well. You will receive a random assortment as we cannot guarantee the sex of each fish.
All of our guppies are extremely healthy. No new tank mates have been introduced in over 6 months, so there is VERY little to no risk for disease. Every so often, we will purchase new guppies, quarantine them for 6 weeks to ensure they are disease free, and then we will add them to our large tank. This helps us ensure that we have a genetically healthy population of fish. The last time we did this was about 7 months ago.
We have successfully housed betta fish with guppies in the past, so if you’re looking for compatible tank mates for your betta, guppies may be the way to go! Let me know if this is why you're purchasing them so I can try to get ones that are a little less vibrant (bettas may nip at fish that are more colorful).
