2019 mare that truly does it all. She’s been my daughter’s main horse and has competed in 4-H the past two years with consistent placings in both judged and speed events, and gone to the State 4-H Show both years.
She stands 14.1 hands—compact, athletic, and plenty of go when asked. She’s clocked 3D jackpot times with some 2D runs, but her real strength is being a solid all-around horse. She’ll lead out on the trail, works cattle, team penning, is lightly started in goat tying, and has had ropes thrown off her without issue. Not spooky and handles new places well.
Easy in the barn and not mare-ish. Low in the pecking order and great to shoe, haul, stall, bathe, blanket, and clip.
She has a reining foundation and had 18 months of professional training with Mack Weaver as a 3-year-old. As a 2-year-old she had a simple check ligament procedure at South Valley and has been sound with no issues since.
Only for sale because my daughter is focusing on speed events for high school rodeo. This mare will run, but she doesn’t love being a full-time speed horse. She’s an excellent 4-H horse and would also be a great ranch versatility prospect.
Best suited for an intermediate rider that can give clear direction. She may take a ride or two to feel out a new rider, but once she understands expectations, she’s willing, responsive, and fun to ride. Videos available.
