Meet Taquito — still believing in love

Taquito is a 5-year-old happy, playful boy who hasn’t had the easiest journey. He’s been adopted twice and returned through no fault of his own, and despite it all, he’s still holding onto hope that his people are out there.

At first, Taquito can be a little timid — he’s learned that not every new situation is permanent. But with patience, kindness, and consistency, he warms up and shows his joyful, playful spirit. He wants to trust… he just needs a family willing to go slow and mean it.

Taquito does struggle with house training and currently wears a male wrap, which helps manage accidents. He’s neutered, fully vetted, microchipped, and up to date on shots — now all he needs is a special family who understands that perfection isn’t required to be deeply loved.

This sweet boy isn’t asking for much — just a safe place, gentle guidance, and someone who won’t give up when things get a little hard.
