Meet Wanda

Wanda is a tiny 10-lb terrier born in June 2024, with a gentle soul and a heart that’s just waiting to feel safe.

She’s used to being around other small dogs and does well in their company, but with people she prefers a slower, softer start. Wanda needs time to warm up, get to know you, and learn her new routine—patience is the key to her heart.

She’s puppy-pad potty trained and goes outside with no problem for doing business. Routine and predictability help her feel secure and successful.

Wanda does best when approached calmly—no grabbing, please. Let her come to you. Once trust is established, she bonds deeply and will happily become your little shadow and bestie. She is young and independent.

As Wanda is so little and timid, she will do best in a home with adults only, or older kids who understand her need for space and patience.

Wanda is looking for a home that understands that love doesn’t always come instantly—but when it does, it’s the real deal.
