These Salt Lake City plates are hard to find, especially in blue. This plate is in mint condition. This was made by Vernon Kilns, which operated from 1931 - 1958. This plate was made during this time frame. The scenes on this plate are the Utah State Capital Building, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Mormon Temple, the Tabernacle, Eagle Gate, Brigham Young Monument, Seagull Monument, Utah Copper Mine Bingham Canyon, and a City County Building. The plate is 10 1/4 inches across. This has a white background with a beautiful floral band border. The colors are vibrant. There is no chips, cracks, or crazing. The back says Salt Lake City, UTAH and By Vernon Kilns This is a stunning piece of Utah history. It would be beautiful displayed. I will not ship this. Selling to help a parent. Price is firm.
