This is a very old handbag/purse with 2 silver tassels on each side. Each tassel is 2 1/4 inches long with micro glass beads. The beads hang from the bottom of the bag and from each tassel. The beads are a black and a silvery gold color. The purse is a black velvet on the outside and it appears to be silk on the inside. The inside is in great condtion. I think this in from the late 1800's to the early 1900's, the Victorian Era. To open the purse you must push down on a center button on top. This is 7 inches long by 3 1/2 inches to 4 1/2 inches across. The handle is missing but it would be pretty with a fancy ribbon. A real unusual and fun item. Shown as found. Must see. Price is firm.
