PayPalDid you get an Icom IC-7300 radio for Christmas? Of perhaps have an Icom radio that uses the 8 pin round connector? My loss is your gain. I thought this microphone was defective so I replaced it with a Heil mic and stand (Over $200) only to find that the problem was the Narrow Transmit Setting in my IC-7300 was set to narrow. This mic is in perfect condition and sounds the same as my new expensive Heil mic. I have wired a footswitch connection that can be used by plugging your footswitch into the mic base.
