We have had Roxie for about 3 years and sadly we need to let her go to a different family. She is a very tame and loving bird, she is approximately 3-1/2-4 years old. We were told she was a female but no DNA sexing has been performed. She loves interacting with her family and being part of meals. She doesn't talk much but when she's left alone, she'll say peek a boo and chirp sweet chirps. When she's left alone and really wants attention, she'll say peek a boo and will squawk and be vocal.

She will sit on your shoulder for hours, she is playful and will dance if you beatbox and dance by her.

We will supply her cage and everything she needs to thrive. She is absolutely healthy and happy and you can tell by how she looks with her feathers and how she interacts with everyone. If you love her, she will love you.

I'd prefer if she went to a home with no dogs or other large pets. She is a chicken and can be easily frightened, seriously this will be a deal breaker for us. We want her to be happy and go to a loving home, preferably with young children as she is well bonded with our 11 year old and our teenagers.

I can't handle her squawks, it drives me nuts and we just can't give her the attention she deserves. I'm being honest, if it wasn't for the attention squawks, we would keep her but I am sensitive to loud high pitched noises.
