Price is for each trailer
These are military NF-2 lightsets. They were used by the Air Force to provide lighting for flightline operations, etc. They contain 2,200 watt Onan Generators and a scissor type extension to lift lights 12 feet in the air.
I am selling them for tool storage, or for the basis for a portable power or light system.
NOTE These are only rated for towing up to 20 mph--NOT FOR HIGHWAY OPERATION
I bought them with the intent of upgrading to larger generators and modern LED lights. The generators have a lot of hours on them... they turn over, but I haven't been able to start them. The lights are obsolescent and the wiring to the lights has seen better days.
Both trailers come with new 6 ply tires. They will need to be installed, which is fairly easy as they are a split wheel with tubes.
The trailers have a leaf spring with a steerable front axle. The tongue was missing on one trailer so I am building another. The tongue has a pintle ring--it would need to be replaced if you want to use a standard ball with these. Or, just buy a combination pintle hitch insert that has a ball as well. (see picture)
I have used LED floodlights and boating type gas tanks at additional price.
I will deliver these in the Ogden/Southern Weber county and North Davis County area for Free. Delivery to other areas for a reasonable cost.
