VINTAGE 1950’S MID CENTURY MODERN, TWO TIERED BLONDE Wood (maple) End/ Corner / Side table with matching Formica top. Cool Corner, Side, or End table in great shape. Curved base, asymmetrical second tier, Champaign finish, gives it a very 50's Haywood Wakefield vibe. It actually has the signature Phillips head screws Wakefield used in all their post 1949 furniture. Alas, no stamp and although Heywood did make use of Formica, it wasn't their mainstay. Whomever made it, made it to last. The construction is rock solid makes use of wood joints generally only seen from high end makers. There is a possible clue to the maker. Whether it's a random sticker or a collectable London based manufacturer, who knows... Maybe it's your lucky day and this is one of those ksl treasure scores. I have too much furniture and I'm too busy to do the research. Coloring is different because pics were taken at different times. Warmer nighttime light brings out the warm tones. Pics taken at different time of day.
Dimensions: -27 7/8 wide x 27 5/8 deep 16 tall x top shelf 24 tall.
My work has me sitting on a ton of high quality furniture, from many genres, generally by top tier makers. Modern, post modern, MCM, Mid Century Danish, 20s industrial, Bauhaus, 70s funk, Art Deco, Victorian, French countryside, etc. A lot of it is collectable and often rare. No matter what your style, keep checking back. If you're looking for something specific, feel free to reach out, chances are I might have it.
