Meet Maizie!

If memory serves me correctly, she is about 4 years old. We got her when she was 2ish and we'v had her for a couple years. She is beautiful and has bright skin patterns, as you can see. She is a very active snake, and when you hold her, she slithers all over. She loves to dig into her bedding and hide, slither into her "tree," and try to escape her cage. We custom built a tight-fitting cage because the lid that came with her tank was too easy for her to push up. Here are a few care facts:

1. She sheds well, often in 1 or 2 pieces.

2. She eats hopper-sized mice each Saturday evening. We raised the mice and fed them to her at about 10-12 grams.

3. She is easy to hold, but she has bitten before. She doesn't like you sticking your hand into her cage (territorial), but if you pick her up near the tail or cover her head with a spoon, she is totally fine when you get her out. She has never bitten anyone except when they reach into her cage and startle her.

The price includes Maizie, her tank with everything pictured, and a working mister. She needs a new heat lamp. While cleaning her tank this week, we broke it. I will likely buy a new one and include that, but we'll see. We have a ball python up for grabs too, and the last snake to be sold will also take our stock of frozen mice. I just can't get rid of those until the final snake goes so we can continue to feed them until they join your family.
