VenmoMeet Hydra!
I'm not totally sure about Hydra's age, but the previous owners said he was about a year old, which would make him about 3 now. I just don't know for sure.
Hydra is nocturnal, so he becomes more active during the evening/night. He is a totally chill snake. He is completely fine just balling up on your belly while you play games. He prefers to hide in his cage during the day, but he explores more when the sun goes down. He defintely needs a place to hide. We have had a "cave" for him in the past, and he spent most days curled up in that. Right now he has sticks and fake leaves, which he seems to like just fine. Here are some facts about him:
He eats every other Saturday and it has to be in the evening. He won't eat if it isn't the right time, so don't try. He is a bit finicky this way, but if you feed him after 8pm you'll be fine.
He hasn't ever bit anyone. Like I said, super chill.
He sheds well most of the time, but if you don't keep his cage humid enough, he will shed in pieces. I've had to put him in a warm bath to coax off pieces of shed before. He loves baths, by the way. He sheds well if it is is humid, so just keep using the mister.
He eats hopper-sized thawed frozen mice (about 10-12 grams).
For the asking price, you get Hydra, the tank and everything in it, a mister system, and a heat lamp. Everything you need to keep him happy!
