Alright we've got a special vintage buckle here! Made and signed by the Apache artist Richard L. Reeve, he made this one larger than most buckles you'll see on here. Measures 4 inches long, and 3 inches wide, this is a noticeable statement piece for sure. Richard decided to use Tibetan turquoise which is mined in the Himalayas!

A little history of you are unfamiliar with the turquoise type.. Tibetan turquoise is a rare, historically significant gemstone ranging from blue-green to green with heavy black or brown iron matrix patterns. Revered for thousands of years as a "sky stone" symbolizing health, protection, and prosperity, it is deeply embedded in Tibetan culture and frequently used in jewelry, prayer wheels, and amulets. So this is a neat piece!
