This saw cuts just fine. The blade can still rise to about three or 3 1/2 inches high above the deck. I haven’t been able to tilt the blade to a full 45°, but I have gotten it to about 40°. Looking at the gears it looks like it needs some cleaning and dry lube. The fence stays parallel. I still have the blade guard, but I have never used it.
I am getting rid of it because I am getting ready for some different projects (and tooling) and need the garage space.
