VenmoThis is a 34’ 1998 Coachman Catalina with a rear 12v 5.9 Turbo Cummins Diesel and Allison transmission
Like many older RV’s this one has very low miles. Unfortunately the LCD display on the odometer doesn’t often show up. The last time I saw it working it was around 60,000 miles total.
New queen mattress in the main bedroom and It has two Jackknife sofas that convert into beds along with the dining table that lays flat as a bed giving you 4 fairly comfortable beds.
The interior is mostly original and in good shape, especially for its age.
Unlike other Coachman’s that look the same from this era, this one is on a Spartan Bus chassis complete with air brakes and air suspension however, you do not need a CDL to drive it.
It has a power 20’ Carefree awning.
The tires are 19.5”, have great tread and were all replaced in the last 7 years
Windshields have a few small rock chips but no cracks
Dual Dometic roof AC units New 32” mounted TV Factory Backup camera (it still works but is a little finicky.) Gasoline Onan Marquise 7000 generator 220/110v hookup service transfer switch
Everything works inside. I replaced the control board in the fridge a couple years ago and it’s great, water heater is good, water tanks are clean and solid. Furnace works fine but the fan whines a little bit when cold. Roof resealed and coated in 2019
The engine and transmission are amazing. Very smooth and strong. I replaced the valve cover gaskets in 2019. Due to the age, no crazy emissions add ons or DEF
The paint is a little oxidized up top but still good but the clear coat around the bottom is peeling and sun baked
It does need a few things and this is reflected heavily in the price
The generator runs but it stopped outputting power last year. I haven’t checked it out yet to diagnose the problem
It will need new batteries, both for the Coach and the Chassis. They still work but are weak
There is a small and slow leak at the front roof AC. It has never dripped during rainstorms but seeped in over winter
My plan was to fix these things prior to selling but my project list is very long and we have another RV that needs to come home and we don’t have the space until this one is gone.
My price on this is a steal for a pusher as just the chassis and drive train are worth this. If it doesn’t sell quick, I’ll keep working on it and the price will go up accordingly. If you’re handy, you could make some money on a flip very easily.
I still owe a couple thousand on my loan for it so the credit union has the title.
