Mr. Havel, Waterford’s Chief Designer, thought that the seahorse symbolised Waterford’s maritime connections. He also loved the fact that the seahorse was truly original and a unique sea creature. It is said that the seahorse is also a symbol of good luck. Thus the distinctive seahorse became the trademark and label known around the world for quality. This is in new and in excellent condition because it was never worn. It was bought in Waterford, Ireland right from the crystal factory. It is a vintage piece. It comes with the original box, pouch, and paperwork it came with. So it is new in the box, NIB. It measures about 2 inches tall. This is a unique and very beautiful piece.
