She is currently on a specialized high-calorie diet with fish oil to help her regain a healthy weight, and she is showing great progress every day.

The Ideal Home:

Athena is looking for a family with a fenced yard and owners committed to continuing her journey toward health and manners.

• Friends: She loves people and larger dogs!
• Training: She is house/kennel trained and partially leash trained, though she’ll need a patient hand to help her master her walks.
• Considerations: Because of her background, she has food aggression with other dogs (none with humans) and a high prey drive—so no cats or chickens, please. She has done well with older children.

Adoption Requirements:

• Must be willing to travel to Manti, Utah for an initial meet-and-greet.
• Must have a secure, fenced yard.
• Commitment to her nutritional needs and ongoing training.
