Free Scavenger Hunt
Just a status update on the June 6th free scavenger hunt:
And pictures so you know this is real.
We have boxed up about 70-80 surprise gift boxes for the first 70-80 or so children that come to this event.
All the stuff in the boxes is unused and the other stuff in the scavenger hunt is used and like new or in good shape.
Each child will draw a number and be given the box with that number on it.
Each box contains one “special item, new Christmas lights, a Hot Wheel vehicle, a Ty Beanie baby animal, a souvenir pocket knife or Handyman tool and of course the box that is used to get your first round of items in the scavenger hunt.
Here are some of the special items: Star Wars items including Lightsabers , Mandalorian Darksaber, plastic airplane model kits, flying model rocket kit with launch pad, Sonic the Hedgehog slot car racing set, HO Train Set, Rock Tumbler, Nerf Guns, Funko characters including Grogu, Commander Jason Nesmith from Galaxy Quest, Games like Battleship.. and many other unique and special items. These are all new.
Here’s a list of some of the items that are in this free scavenger hunt:
Camping/sports watching chairs
60-80 Sports Balls ( Soccer, Basketball, Volleyball, Football Baseball with two gloves and Large Exercise Balls.(all will be inflated properly).
Frisbees
Baby items: Baby bath, booster seats, car seats, tumblers.
Toys of all types.
Oldie but Goodie CD’s in near perfect condition.
Some small music keyboards.
Dozens of Nerf Guns with ammo.(Each bundled in a set of two guns)
2 Nerf backboards with ball.
Some glassware and antique type dishes.
Sports Bottles
Some large framed pictures, picture frames and picture frame sets.
Christmas items.
Gift wrap, gift cards, gift boxes and gift bags.
Duffle Bags and BackPacks
Tons of Clothes
Shoes and Boots
Socks
Hats- some new
Baskets of all kinds
Pots and Vases for flowers and plants
Play Tents and Tunnels for kids or animals I suppose.
Inflatable pool items life rafts and water wings and pool noodles.
Some masks with snorkel and fins.
Special thanks to my wife who is putting up with my insane idea.
