Stanley is a 7 year old draft cross. I have owned him for almost a year. when I bought him,he was very green. I have worked hard to earn his trust and have been riding and packing him. He rides really good and moves out pretty well and despite his size and being part draft he is a pretty smooth walker. I had hopes of using him as my main mountain horse, but I just don't have the time that I need to put into him right now. When I first got him, you couldn't pick up any of his feet, but I have got him so you can handle all if his feet and he has been trimmed several times. Stanley's biggest flaw is a lack of confidence, he still gets nervous occasionally and will shy from things. He just needs time and miles with an experienced rider and he has the potential to be a great horse.
