Meet Scooby! This good boy is looking for a his new home. He is neutered, microchipped, and healthy. He’s crate-trained and generally quiet in his crate. He sleeps through the night in his crate and also is good to spend time in his crate during the day. He is potty trained (we have him on a strict structure with potty time), and very treat-motivated. He is good with our kids (6+). He knows sit, down, stay, and place and is able to stay on place for quite a while. He is good at keeping all 4 paws on the floor and not jumping. He is so smart. He thinks it is his personal responbility to clean up every last crumb off of the floor. He is also very good at fetch and thinks it's the most exciting game ever, as well as "find it." Scooby has leash reactivity and would need someone to help him learn how to be okay seeing other people/dogs while on a walk. He can also be territorial (we understand that this could be common for his breed) and struggles with accepting new people who come into the home. He is better at accepting children than he is adults. He is the only animal in our home, but he has successfully lived with other dogs before. We trained with K9 Lifeline and he does very well with the other dogs in their social group. He is such a loving dog. We truly want the best life for him. We just aren't the right fit for him.
