I’m selling a small gold mine to cover costs on a bigger mine I have. The property is in Imlay Nevada. All the permits are done you just have to pay the $7,000 bond. I have permission to use the water on the site but you’d need to make some retaining ponds. The water from the retaining ponds could easily sustain a 50 ton per hour operation. I paid a geologist to come out and pull some samples and the samples averaged out to be .015 ounces per ton. If you got a 50 ton per hour operation going on this mine it’d bring in about 6 ounces of gold a day. That’s $30,000 a day! If you worked 5 days a week 8 hours a day on a 50 ton per hour trommel you’d be going through 2,000 tons of dirt per week and bringing in 30 ounces of gold per week! That’s $150,000 per week and $600,000 per month! This type of operation requires only a few workers and would be fairly easy to set up and start within a few weeks. There’s an estimated million tons of virgin gravel so this project would provide 125 months of work moving 8,000 tons of dirt per month.
