This is an excellent specimen of a hornets nest. It is on the original twig and was harvested in the winter and cured indoors so as to avoid pests hiding inside. The hole on the bottom is perfect for looking inside at the fine comb structure. This nest would make a great specimen for anyone curious about nature or someone who could use it in a craft or classroom! It is in great condition and is very clean.
