This is a vintage Lufkin Steel Tape surveyor used by engineers and surveyors. It is equipped with a wood handle for comfort while using. It does roll the tape out and back in. It is missing the end strap. I only rolled it out a couple feet to test. Not sure if this is 100ft or 200ft model. It has minor rust but not too bad.,
