ApplePayIt absolutely breaks my heart to have to do this, but I need to rehome my 6-year-old boy. He is truly an amazing dog with the sweetest temperament. He knows several tricks, listens extremely well, loves any body of water, and swims like a fish. He’s fully vaccinated, neutered, and has been raised around other dogs, cats, and babies.
The hardest part is that he struggles with significant anxiety. He really needs a yard where he can run and burn off energy. When he has space to exercise, his anxiety is much more manageable. After my divorce, I took him in because he was going to be sent to the pound, and I couldn’t let that happen. Now I feel selfish keeping him in a situation where I don’t have a yard or the time he truly deserves.
I want him to go to a loving, stable home where he can thrive. Ideally, that would be a home with a yard, other dogs to play with, or children who will shower him with affection. I kindly ask to see where he will be living and hope to check in occasionally, just to know he’s doing well.
I am only asking $500 to make sure he goes to a good home. I may be flexible after discussing.
