VenmoShow ready Fancy cobra guppies -live fish -snakeskin red mosaic, yellow tiger halfmoon mosaic and Aquarium Plants - bacopa monnieri – waterhyssop
The Red Snake Skin Mosaic Guppy is one of the most eye-catching guppy varieties — loved for its intricate “snakeskin” body pattern and brilliantly colored, mosaic-patterned tail. The Yellow Tiger Mosaic Guppy is a colorful variety of the common guppy (Poecilia reticulata). The Yellow Tiger Mosaic Guppies look wonderful and vibrant and are easy to maintain. These guppy varieties boast a stunning yellow-colored mosaic with an yellow orange tail fin that gives them a tiger’s appearance. They are also half-moon guppies, which means they can open their tails up to 180 degrees, and their punchy colors make them stand out. It’s a lively, hardy, and easy-to-care-for fish, making it a favorite for both beginners and experienced aquarists.
Their proclivity to reproduce and their ability to bear live young makes for a fun venture for adults and children to enjoy as you discover new fry babies and watch them grow. Use it as a money making opportunity or have a beautiful self-sustaining live feed for your aquatic turtle that is healthier than fatty live goldfish. I don’t judge.
Bacopa monnieri (water hyssop or moneywort) is a hardy, easy-to-care-for, and popular stem plant perfect for aquarium beginners. It thrives in moderate light without requiring CO2 injection, growing vertically with bright green, succulent-likeleaves. Ideal for mid-ground to background placement, it can grow submersed or emersed (above water) and propagates easily via stem cuttings.
Incorporating live aquatic plants inside your aquarium provides benefits beyond their aesthetically pleasing look. Besides delivering vibrant and natural decoration, they provide:
· Natural Chemical Filtration System to act as a natural filtration system; removing potentially toxic waste such as nitrates produced by decaying matter and waste excreted by fish.
· Algae Reduction which actually will starve the algae, limiting its growth or altogether eliminating it, because the plants will outcompete the algae for nutrients.
· Oxygenating the Water. Through the process of photosynthesis, live plants release oxygen into the water column while at the same time they consume the carbon dioxide that the fish produce through their respiration or that is produced by waste/decomposing organic matter in the aquarium. Properly oxygenated water allows your fish to flourish..
· Make your fish feel more secure and generally promotes their happiness. The plants will provide hiding places for your fish and make their life more exciting and fulfilling. Should you wish to breed your guppies, hiding places for little fry are essential to prevent cannibalism and allow them to survive and grow.
· Often forgotten benefit of live plants in an aquarium is the plant’s - or to be more precise their root system’s - impact on the aquarium substrate. Strong root system will prevent the anaerobic processes from taking place within the substrate and will stop the build up of potentially toxic gases which, if released into the water column, could put your tank inhabitants’ lives at risk.
Guppies will be $15 for 5 (I reserve the right to keep my 3 favorites)
Plants are $3 for a rooted bunch
